Celebrating Achievement & Dedication

Ralph Minor has been a participant in the Easterseals Vocational Department for several years, working at the First United Methodist Church of Thomasville. Through the Supported Employment program, Ralph has enhanced his job skills in key areas such as task consistency, decision-making, and money management. He is now able to follow his daily checklist with minimal prompts. With support from his family, Ralph is also saving money to indulge in personal interests. He enjoys attending football games to cheer for his favorite team, the Thomasville High School Bulldogs, as well as going to other sporting events and singing karaoke.

One of Ralph's significant goals was to save money to purchase a headstone for his mother. In 2021, he accomplished that goal! Ralph continues to achieve his goals one step at a time.

In recognition of his hard work, Ralph was nominated and chosen as the Georgia Association of Supporting People in Employment First (GASPE) 2021 Employee of the Year during Wise October’s Disability Awareness Month Celebration.
