Easterseals Northwest Florida & Easterseals Southern Georgia Receives a 3-Year CARF Accreditation
CARF International has once again accredited Easterseals Southern Georgia & Northwest Florida for a period of three years for its disability services. Since our first accreditation in May 1976, the CARF Accreditation has been a source of pride for the agency, reinforcing its commitment to excellence.
What is CARF?
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body that promotes quality, value, and optimal outcomes through a consultative accreditation process. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International assists organizations in enhancing the quality of their services, with a focus on improving the lives of those they serve.
How is Accreditation Achieved?
The accreditation process includes confidential interviews with staff, stakeholders, and program participants, along with their families. It entails direct observations and a thorough review of the organization's operations, service delivery practices, and documentation, which encompasses policies, financial statements, and program outcomes.
