John McCain has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Easterseals Southern Georgia and Easterseals Northwest Florida since 2018. Under his leadership, the organization supports thousands of individuals with disabilities and their families across 62 counties in Georgia and 18 counties in Florida, guided by a dedicated team of more than 160 employees.
John brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, operations, and finance. Prior to joining Easterseals, he served as Chief Executive Officer of a Goodwill affiliate in Hagerstown, Maryland, and as Chief Operating Officer for a combined Goodwill Easterseals affiliate in Mobile, Alabama. Earlier in his career, he worked as a controller and staff accountant, building a strong financial foundation that continues to support strategic growth and long-term sustainability.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, John grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama, a Master of Business Administration from Spring Hill College, and a certificate in executive development from Goodwill Industries International.
John is deeply committed to community leadership and service. His board involvement has included the Hagerstown Lions Club and the Albany Rotary Club, and he currently serves on the boards of Goodwill of Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, the Georgia Association of Training, Employment, and Supports, and the Easterseals Affiliate Leadership Council.
John’s leadership reflects a strong commitment to expanding opportunities, promoting inclusion, and supporting independence for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the communities Easterseals serves.
